PRINCIPLES
FUSE works through BI Publisher, using the Oracle Fusion permissions you already have.
FUSE checks each query before running it. Only a single approved SELECT or WITH statement is accepted.
RC18 browser portable uses account-bound password protection. Its Windows save-and-restart behavior still needs testing. Older native builds use Windows Credential Manager.
FUSE sends queries through Oracle Fusion BI Publisher. It does not give you access beyond your existing permissions.
FUSE does not send usage analytics. It contacts your tenant only when you choose to prepare, test, or run.
WORKSPACE SETTINGS
Resize panels, adjust display settings, and use keyboard shortcuts.
Run and save queries, search, navigate results, and open commands from the keyboard.
Give more space to the editor, library, or results by resizing the panels.
Distinguish null values from empty cells, see when results are limited, and read errors beside your query.
Visible keyboard focus helps you follow each selection. Motion controls let you reduce animation.
WINDOWS PREVIEW
RC18 browser portable is the current test download. Assembled on macOS; Windows 11 testing is pending. Older RC17 native previews are listed separately. No account needed.

FAQ
No. FUSE works through Oracle Fusion BI Publisher services and the access already granted to your user.
Queries are read-only: FUSE accepts one checked SELECT or WITH statement and rejects data-changing SQL. Connection setup is different: Save & prepare can create missing preset BI Publisher report objects. Get your environment owner's permission before using it.
FUSE includes presets for HCM and Financials/SCM. Authorized teams can also configure an existing BI Publisher data model and report. Your Oracle permissions still determine which data you can access.
Yes. RC18 browser portable is a free, unsigned Windows 11 x64 testing preview assembled on macOS. Windows 11 testing is pending. It is not the native EXE edition, and no updated RC18 native packages are available. Older RC17 native previews lack the RC18 updates. No sign-in is needed. Microsoft Store and macOS downloads are not available.
Stop and ask your device administrator. Do not disable protections or use another edition to get around a block. This preview has no trusted FUSE publisher signature. Windows 11 testing is pending; compatibility with every device policy is not promised.
RC18 browser portable stores its workspace in your Windows user profile. Wait for Workspace saved, close the app window, then the console. Relaunch to test that queries, drafts, and connections remain and the saved password works. SQL and profile fields are unencrypted; Windows account-bound password protection still needs testing.
This differs from the old RC17 browser session. Previously lost RC17 browser-session work cannot be recovered. The older native portable and installer continue to share their native workspace.
Optionally. RC18's local schema companion provides documented tables and columns and reviewed joins, not FUSE credentials, drafts, results, or query execution. Check the sources before using the context. Your coding agent's independent file access and provider settings remain your responsibility.
